Music

Making music is my greatest passion. I love playing keyboard and singing and connecting music with worship. I have played with many worship groups and one highlight experience was playing keyboard for the Canadian Youth Workers Convention worship band. I am also passionate about music production with live audio engineering, designing keyboard sounds, recording, mixing, and producing. I recently have partnered with a singer-songwriter friend of mine to record and produce an album. This collaborative project has been incredibly exciting and lifegiving to me.

Board Games

My wife, Rachel, and I have quite a collection and playing games is a go-to activity for us to spend time with each other. Some of the games we like to play are Settlers of Catan, Seven Wonders, Sushi GO! and Castles of Burgundy.During the COVID-19 isolation period, we started a Board and Card Game Olympics, which involved playing every game we owned and tallying who won the most games.

Sports

I have always been drawn to the competition, camaraderie, teamwork, and discipline of sports both in playing, coaching, and watching. I was very active in playing sports in elementary and high school with soccer being my main passion. I don't participate nearly as much in playing sports other than playing on the occasional recreational soccer team. In terms of watching sports, the NHL and Colorado draw the most of my attention as I watch the games, read articles, and listen to podcasts.
